Just read a great Kindle book about healing your teeth. As with a lot of the books I have found lately, the information in this book is contrary to what the "experts" advise. There seems to be a common message in the books I am being led to: Stop listening to main media sources concerning health. Start listening to your own intuition.
The book is titled "How I Healed My Teeth by Eating Sugar" by Joey Lott.
The book gives a list of "Super Foods" to add to the diet, but the main thing, Joey says, is to make sure you are eating enough calories. Calories = healing (healing of metabolism and so, the whole body, not just he teeth.)
The amount of calories he is suggesting may shock some, but is consistent with other books I have read recently.
I am reminded of when I was pregnant. I decided (instinctively, I guess) to forget calories and just eat as much as I can to make sure I had a healthy baby. I did not worry about getting fat. I just put that out of my mind. My focus was having a healthy baby. Period. I just focused on eating a wide variety of lots of food. I ate three large meals every day, plus occasionally a snack. My meals consisted of meat (usually fried), potato, a couple of other vegetables (from a can), a dessert, plus milk and juice. I listened to my body and adjusted amounts accordingly. I ate large portions and I kept eating until I was full. I ate a lot of food.
The outcome? I lost weight! Yes, when I went home from the hospital, I wore smaller clothes than when I first got pregnant. I was down 1 1/2 to 2 sizes, depending on the clothes.
I also used this method when I had surgery. I wanted to heal as quickly as possible from the surgery. Once again I made the decision to quit worrying about gaining weight and just eat as much food as possible. Again, I somehow knew that more calories equals health. And once again I was confused when I lost 2 sizes. According to the "experts", I should be gaining, not losing weight. However, now with the help of the books I am reading, this makes sense.
Anyway, if you feel drawn to this book ("How I Healed My Teeth by Eating Sugar" by Joey Lott), or to the other books I mentioned in earlier posts, please read with an open mind and an open heart.
Blessings.
